Bible Study
A Conversation with the Pastor
Pastor’s Bible study is held every Wednesday, at 6:30 PM in the fellowship hall. Pastors’ Bible Study is broken up into four different teachings: Week One (Book), Week Two (Spiritual Growth), Week Three (Marriage Ministry) and Week Four (Singles Ministry).
Iron Men
The Iron Men’s ministry is led by Bro. Bledsoe and Pastor Howard and meets every first Saturday of the month in the Fellowship Hall. Iron Men has about nine men who meet and eat breakfast together. Some of the men who attend Iron Men are well known in the community and have formed relationships with the pastor and the men of Bethel.
Homework Help
Homework Help consists of two coordinators Gloria Howell and Marvin Jones and five tutors, with more tutors waiting to jump in. All tutors are graduate students, who have a love for educating and helping younger generations who need a little push in order to excel in the classroom. Homework Help convenes every Wednesday Night from 6:00 – 7:30 PM in the Church’s Fellowship Hall with a meal prepared by Bethel or a donation by parents.
Women of Purpose
Meets every 2nd Saturday at 12:30 pm. WoP is studying out of Joyce Meyer's book "Battlefield of the Mind.
WMS
Women's Missionary Society meets every second Sunday of the month at 9:30 AM.
Breakfast
Free breakfast every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM.
Youth
The Young People’s Department is led by Dr. Grim and Sis. Nancy Cross. The youth department meet every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. The purpose of the youth department is to encourage the youth and provide them with training to help them grow spiritually and intellectually. Every 3rd Sunday is youth Sunday. This is where the youth sing, read scripture, say the welcome, and usher.
AME101
AME101 known as our New Members’ Class meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM in the prayer room. New Members’ Class is taught by Brother Michael Jefferson and Rev. Toshia as his backup. New Members is broken up into a five-week course, teaching from the New Members’ Manual.
Sunday School
Sunday School is taught by Dr. Valerie Grim and Sis. Nancy Cross-Harris on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM in the sanctuary. Our Sunday school class is intergenerational and multicultural, which reflects our church. This space is created for people to learn and ask important Biblical questions.
